A Developed Criterion for Rationalizing On-Farm Irrigation Water Uses Under Arid Conditions

Arid ecosystems conditions could be characterized with dwindling water resources and growing competition for water will reduce water availability for agricultural development processing, while the need to meet growing food demands will require that more food is grown with less water. Amore effective water and greater water-unit productivity will be a primarychallenge for future development. Due to excess or deficient levels of water or nutrients could result in yield reductions, meanwhile, proper design and management processes of microirrigation system are essential for successful production. Systems must integrate soil-hydro-physical properties, crop root distribution characteristics, water requirements related to crop growth stage and environmental demand.

Farm Irrigation Water Uses

There is no doubt that the average crop yield is a function of the irrigation water application factors (application uniformity; depth of application and the amount of daily evapotranspiration supplied byrainfall), the hydraulic variation of distributors as well as the crop sensitivity to the moisture stress.

Non-Invasively Detecting Blood Vessels during Laparoscopic/Robotic Procedure

Minimally invasive surgeries refer to laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgeries where the procedures do not involve large, open incisions like traditional surgeries. Rather, tiny incisions are made and smalltubes, video cameras, and surgical instruments are inserted through the tinyincisions and operations are performed. The major benefits of minimally invasive surgeries include, but are not limited to, lower morbidity, shorter hospital stay, and faster recovery

Non-Invasively Detecting Blood Vessels

Thanks to such benefits, today worldwide, minimally invasive surgery has become more common in hospitals. In U.S. alone, 460,000cholecystectomies, 500,000 hysterectomies, and 420,000 appendectomies areperformed annually. Since 1995, the rate of laparoscopic surgeries has been increasing tremendously.

A Full Spectrum Analysis Methodology Applied to an Anisotropic Overhung Rotor

Overhung rotors are widely used in industrial turbo-machines. For certain gas turbines, gyroscopic effects of the disks may almost double the critical speeds of the rotor systems, compared to normal mechanical vibration systems. In addition, the asymmetry of the bearingstiffness will bring more complication to a rotor system. Even though there are many established publications about how to theoretically model an overhung rotor with anisotropic bearings , very few papers compared the theoretical models with experimental results. Ishida et afl.derived a sophisticated mathematical model to theoretically investigate the nonstationary vibration of a flexible rotor with nonlinear spring parameters during acceleration.

 Anisotropic Overhung Rotor

They employed an asymptotic method to compute the first approximate solution to vibration response. Then, they calculated the amplitude variation curves of each oscillation component using complex-FFT. Furthermore, they inspected how each nonlinear component in polar format affected dynamic vibration. Theyproposed a unique signal processing method called complex-FFT where the rotorwhirling plane is coincident with the complex plane. The whirling direction of the rotor can be judged by filtering the vibration signals at different frequencies using complex-FFT method. However, the complex-FFT doesnot provide instrumentation phase angle information and full spectrum cascaded plots.

Discovery on the Artistic Expression of Georgette through Silk Painting

Georgette fabric is a plain weave textile woven by raw silk. The weft and warp of georgette fabric are combined with pieces of highly twisting mulberry silk, with the twisting degree of more than 2000 T/m. Owing to this feature, georgette fabric could own a wrinkled visual effect and a slightly rough touch feeling. The special fabric structure and unique texturemake georgette distinguished from other silk category, and also provide acreative platform for artistic expression through silk painting practice. Hand painting has a long history and a high reputation for fabric decoration. Hand painting on georgette fabric can strongly enhance the unique feature and inherent charm of georgette by proper techniques and methods. The final visual effects of georgette painting are unparalleled compared with other types of silk painting.

Silk Painting

The subjects for georgette painting are closely associated with the feature of fabric. The structure of georgette fabric isrelatively loose and bouncy, so the overall appearance of georgette istransparent, lightweight, soft and flowing, which makes georgette a favorable and popular fabric for female fashion owing to its attractive feminine nature

The Alternative Hypothesis of the Luminosity of the Sun

The Sun is the nearest star to us normal, and its luminosity, corresponding to (3.846 ± 0.008) x 1026 Watt, well known from experience. The luminosity is the source of life on the Earth. But explain thissimple fact on the basis of scientific and universally accepted submissions; weare not in the states. Judging by the remains of ancient organisms on the Earth, the luminosity of the Sun has not changed significantly in the last 3 billion years, and there are particular bases assume that it shone a long before that. Many sources of luminosity the Sun had been rejected because they could not will provide the energy the Sun for so long.

Luminosity of the Sun

In 1939, the Bete offered as a source nuclear reactions, in the heart o the Sun, under the influence of high temperatures. This isthermonuclear reactions. Until recently, it seemed, was the only possiblesource of luminosity of the Sun. The next section will discuss the crucial issue of law energy conservation (LEC), and then will be given a new experimental data that are not compatible with the thermonuclear source the luminosity of the Sun.
